Many of the popular herbal products on the market can cause harmful side effects or react with your other medicines. Therefore, it is essential that you tell the anesthetist if you are using herbal preparations.
The anesthetist is responsible not only for your anesthesia, but also for your medical care during the entire course of surgery. Therefore, the anesthetist must be very familiar with your medical condition.
